Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Eden Gene Tree. These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between the researcher (Rowana Mulholland) and the client. By commissioning research, you agree to the following terms.
Your privacy is of utmost importance and your information will not be shared with any third party, unless instructed by you in writing. I am also registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office).
Both the report and chart will have full details of living people; however, these can be removed or partially removed at your request.
There is no guarantee of success, and research does not always provide the results desired. Records can be lost, inaccurate, deliberately misleading, or non-existent—especially if a person has deliberately avoided all types of record-keeping regarding themselves.
If while researching, it becomes evident that the required documentation is not available, you will be advised and the research stopped; however, the cost of the research already completed remains payable.
Payments from overseas clients can be made using PayPal or an International Bank, and must be made in British Pounds (GBP).
All transaction fees must be paid by the client. If there are charges, these will be included in the final invoice. Please note: When using PayPal, there will be a 5% surcharge to cover PayPal receiving charges.
The client report will be sent either via email or, for larger reports, via Dropbox or a similar file transfer service. The report will be a PDF file and will include copies of any necessary documents recovered during the research.
Any original records purchased will be sent to you via post.
A detailed request regarding the focus of the research is required prior to starting. We can discuss requirements to determine the best way forward and the extent of the research. Additionally, the focus can be changed as the research progresses if a specific path becomes more relevant.
Client Responsibilities:
Additional Work: When additional work is required after the initial report has been completed, this will be undertaken as soon as current commissions allow, and a start date will be advised.
